Martes de la sexta semana de Pascua

«Y cuando venga, dejará convicto al mundo acerca de un pecado, de una justicia y de una condena». 

El mundo ha cometido tres errores con Cristo: lo ha declarado pecador, no ha reconocido su justicia y lo ha condenado. Cuando venga el Espíritu Santo sobre los apóstoles será Él quien ponga de manifiesto el pecado que ha cometido el mundo, la justicia de Dios y la condena del príncipe de este mundo. 

Santo es el que tiene el Espíritu de Cristo. Igual que Jesús, el santo es un reproche para el mundo y para el cristiano mundano, es decir, para el cristiano que aún se guía por los criterios del mundo. Igual que Jesús, el santo pone de manifiesto, con su palabra y con sus obras, la justicia, la santidad de Dios. E, igual que Jesús, el santo muestra con su vida que en él ya no manda el príncipe de este mundo.

El Papa Francisco se hace y nos hace a menudo esta pregunta: ¿Soy mundano o soy cristiano? ¿Sigo los dictados de la moda y del espíritu del mundo o soy dócil al Espíiritu de Dios? 

El árbol se conoce por sus frutos y los frutos del Espíritu son: caridad, gozo, paz, paciencia, benignidad, bondad, fe mansedumbre y templanza. 

Todos esos frutos los encontramos en la llena de gracia. Con su vida   santa pone de manifiesto el pecado del mundo, la justicia de Cristo y la derrota del diablo. Ayúdanos, madre, con tu intercesión, a dar, también nosotros, frutos de santidad.

Tuesday of the sixth week of Easter

"When He comes, He will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment."

The world has made three mistakes with Christ: it has declared Him a sinner, it has not recognized His justice and it has condemned Him. When the Holy Spirit comes upon the apostles, it will be He who reveals the sin that the world has committed, the justice of God and the condemnation of the Prince of this world.

A Saint is a person who has the Spirit of Christ. Like Jesus, the saint is a reproach for the world and for the worldly Christian, that is, for the Christian who is still guided by the criteria of the world. Like Jesus, the saint shows, by his word and his works, the justice, the holiness of God. Like Jesus, the saint shows by his life that in him the Prince of this world no longer commands.

Pope Francis often asks this question: Am I worldly or am I a Christian? Do I follow the dictates of fashion and the spirit of the world or am I docile to the Spirit of God?

The tree is known for its fruits and the fruits of the Spirit are: charity, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. 

All these fruits are found in the Full of Grace. With Her holy life She reveals the sin of the world, the justice of Christ and the defeat of the devil. Help us, Mother, through Your intercession, to give, in our lives, fruits of holiness.
